Before you begin

There is no public installer image yet. These steps describe the intended public flow and will be finalized against the exact approved Beta artifact.

Expected flow

Download the ISO only from the official Download page.
Verify the SHA-256 hash and release signature.
Back up important data before changing any disk.
Boot the Nulx live environment.
Review networking, storage, keyboard, and display behavior.
Launch Install Nulx Linux.
Read the partitioning summary carefully before applying changes.
Complete installation, remove the ISO, and boot the installed system.

Installation can erase data. Never select a disk unless you have positively identified it and accept the result.

Current validation boundary

The clean-disk installation path has passed in a disposable Hyper-V Generation 2 virtual machine. Broad bare-metal installation has not yet been declared supported.
