Nulx Linux is a Debian-based desktop being developed for cybersecurity students and lab users with basic Linux knowledge. Alhasan Al-Hmondi created the project to make security tools easier to find, understand, and use responsibly.
Why Nulx exists.
Finding a tool is only the beginning. You also need to understand what it does, when to use it, and how to interpret the result. Nulx brings tool discovery, local guidance, and project work into one desktop so learners can spend more time practicing and less time searching.

I started Nulx to build a desktop I would want to use for cybersecurity study and lab work. My focus is a consistent interface, useful tools, and guidance that helps people understand what they are doing. The first public beta is still in development.
Open-source foundations
Nulx Linux builds on Debian and many independently licensed open-source components. Nulx branding and project-owned material are distinct from the licenses and ownership of upstream software. Public third-party notices and acknowledgements will accompany releases where required.
